When I bought my first ball-jointed doll — Gabrys, the fantasy prince I'd just been writing a novella about — I thought that would be it. Finished. Done.
Sitting here a couple of years later, surrounded by fourteen-and-a-half in total, eleven-and-a-half of which were bought to make into my characters and one which became a character shortly after I ordered him, I find myself suspecting this hobby's a little more dangerous than it first appears. This is the combined blog and website of a noodler of a former writer with the habit of collecting ball-jointed dolls that look a bit like their characters.
