   Araxis dropped his pants back onto the pavement again. The stranger’s eyes followed, hesitated around Araxis’ groin area, then darted back up again as a renewed flush filled his cheeks. “That — that wasn’t—”
   “Wasn’t…?” He plastered his very best insincere smirk across his face.
   Which went entirely wasted: the other man’s gaze remained locked over Araxis’ head even as vivid red tinted his ears. “Wasn’t what I meant...”
