Word Count: 2,502 Summary: Milos thinks he's gotten away. There's always someone who's willing to prove him wrong, however. Milos drew his knees up to his chest and rested his chin on them, watching the rain fall in a semicircle around him. The tree’s canopy offered better protection than he’d expected as he fled here to escape the sudden downpour: only the occasional drop broke through to plip against his head and dampen a patch on the ridiculous woollen hat he’d bought in sheer desperation earlier that day. It might keep his ears warm, but it did a bloody terrible job of making him less conspicuous. Rating: 18
Word Count: 1,159 Summary: Alex and Milos are at a work's 'do' for New Year's Eve, but have their own way of celebrating midnight. Not, really, that Milos knew about this beforehand... “Why aren’t you drinking?” Rating: 15
Word Count: 728 Summary: Alex tries to distract Milos on a train journey. “Stop fidgeting, you’re making me nervous.” Milos complained, as much to deflect from his own fiddling with the ends of his sleeves as anything else. Rating: PG

Word Count: 1,119 Summary: Parts of Alex's childhood occasionally return via his sleeping mind, but it's not too hard to distract sleepy bedmates from asking awkward questions. "Come on, Alex. We're ready to take another sample now." Rating: 18
Word Count: 1,504 Summary: Alex and Milos start to get frisky in the back of Alex's car, but an interruption is never too far away. “This isn’t going to work,” Milos gasped, clinging to the headrest with one arm. “And—nnn—your fingers are cold!” Rating: 18
Word Count: 641 Summary: What to do when one person is too sleepy for early morning friskytimes, and the other is always more than ready. The waking world came calling in the form of Alex’s hand caressing his uppermost hip, making an occasional detour to trail fingers across his stomach. Dim cognisance followed, along with the nudging of an erection against his lower back. “Mmmnstopit...” Rating: 15
Word Count: 1,379 Summary: This time it's Milos's turn to have bad dreams, and Alex has no idea what he's supposed do about it... The first time it happened, it took Alex by surprise. He lay with his arms folded behind his head, eyes locked on a ceiling he could make out every detail on despite the hour, and waited for sleep to claim him. At least, he assumed it would at some point, even if it didn’t feel like it right now. Rating: G
Word Count: 595 Summary: Icy patches, metal stairs and genetically modified hands don't combine well. Winter. He liked it in theory, as frost curled its patterned fingers around windows and snow formed drifts that wouldn't look out of place on a chocolate box. In practice, however... He stared down at the steps, glossy with ice and thick with threat. |
